The Sweethearts

Directed by: Steve Jamison

From the vivid imagination of the writer/director Steve Jamison comes a stunning story of two outsiders who find themselves on the same shabby margins of society. The film has been beautifully lit by Dan Trapp, features standout performances from Tom Burke, Lucy Holt and Richard Brake and is cut to a breathtaking score from Dominic DeGrande.

Shot on 35mm film over six crazy days across the city, the production combined a series of 5am starts, 3am finishes, and Rage Against the Machine breaks to pep up the flagging crew. It also brought long-term Archer’s Mark collaborator – and now full time producer – Adam Booth into the fold, redefining the phrase ‘Baptism of Fire’, and making any subsequent project seem like a veritable cakewalk…

Thanks to all those whose investments made this film possible.
