NIKE: PORTRAITS OF SPEED
Directed by IAN DERRY
In his latest campaign films for Nike, director Ian Derry charts three athletes’ personal quests for success through candid insights and atmospheric visuals of Berlin, the location for this Summer’s European Championships.
“My vision was to try and articulate what it takes to become faster; the tiny margins – often just a few centimetres – achieved through a lifetime of training.” says Derry.
The Portraits of Speed series, produced to launch Nike’s latest Pegasus training shoe, featured British sprinter Reece Prescod, 200-meter World Champion Dafne Schippers and 1500m runner Konstanze Klosterhalfen.
