Notes on Blindness: Into Darkness is an immersive virtual reality (VR) project based on John's sensory and psychological experience of blindness, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival alongside the feature film of the same name. It went on to win the Tribeca Storyscapes award and the Sheffield Doc/Fest Alternate Realities award and has become a seminal work in the immersive space.
